Habitat hosts teams of 10 from local businesses to compete in a building competition. Participants collaborate with their teammates to build their designated structures, cooperate during challenging activities, and sabotage other teams in their efforts to build their items. During the Habitat provided lunch, the teams hear stories shared by current and future Habitat Homeowners, volunteers, and staff. This is a wonderful team building experience for the partnering businesses, and promotes workforce unity while making a significant contribution to our community.
The event is a building competition between the companies but we don’t exactly play fair. Teams can purchase points, pay to sabotage other teams by kicking them off the building field, steal tools, materials, or players!
Team registration includes 10 team member spots, t-shirts, lunch, press release coverage, company logo on banners, signs, webpages and more!
